Shell we Goa?

Shell we Goa?

Goa isn’t just a place for Anmol, it’s a whole state of mind. Home base, holiday spot, and unofficial moodboard, it’s where she escapes when she need time with family, some saltwater, or just a break from Excel.

We asked her to spill her current favs — where to go, what to eat, and what to do when the skies open up or the cocktail cravings kick in.

Save this for your next Goa trip ✈️

If you’re up before the world:
Grab a kayak and head for the mangroves of the Mandovi River. (Let us know if you need a hook up, we know the perfect team to do this with) 😉

Pups that greet you as you start are a big plus.

If you're craving a strong coffee + something sweet:
Padaria Prazeres in Panjim. They serve Subko coffee so you know it's good. Go for coffee, stay for the fresh out of the oven Pastéis de Nata. And yes, order two 'cause they run out fast.

If you want to feel inspired (and maybe get some retail therapy in):
First stop: Sacha’s Shop. They stock some our exclusives that you won't find anywhere else, not even with us. Then head to the Museum of Goa and catch the Indigo Series by Subodh Kerkar. Color, texture, soul, it’s all there. The kind of afternoon that makes you want to finally paint that canvas you bought months ago.

If it’s lunchtime and you want to go full local:
Kokni Canteen or Bombil. Chonak, xacuti, poi — Anmol’s go-to trio. Order like a local, eat like one too, and have a siesta immediately after (lord knows you'll need it).

If you want something for the munchies:
Second House Goa for a PG&T (thank us later) and carpaccio. Bonus: It’s cute and pet-friendly.

If the skies open up (as they tend to do in Goa):
Head to Outrigger. Rainy day blues don’t stand a chance with this warm space surrounded by bay windows that frame the picturesque sea views.

If it’s golden hour and you want a drink in your hand:
Bar Cold Drinks or Pablo’s. Order the urak gola or a passionfruit paloma. Or both. (Definitely both.)

Whether you're beach-hopping or bar-crawling, there's no wrong way to Goa. All you need is good weather, good people, and the kind of day that ends with sandy feet, wind-tangled hair, and stories you’ll tell all year.
